- Dr. Francesca Napolitano Johnson graduated from Northeastern University in 2017 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She pursued a 24-month PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Training Program in Ambulatory Care and Academic Leadership with Concordia University Wisconsin. During that time, she specialized in primary care at Federally Qualified Health Centers and teaching pharmacy students. She completed her residency training and Master of Science in Education in 2019. In the second year of her residency, Dr. Johnson started the clinical pharmacy services here at PCHC to demonstrate the value a pharmacist can bring to help manage chronic health problems, assist patients with medication access, and focus on quality improvement. After residency, she was hired onto the team on a full-time basis. Although Dr. Johnson transitioned to part-time in 2023 when she was hired as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University, she continues to provide patient care at PCHC on Wednesdays. Dr. Johnson’s professional passions include chronic disease management, improving clinical quality measures, cultural humility, and well-being (for patients, health professionals, and students).
