Our History
1999
Founded as Westside Healthcare Association
2000
Officially designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
2003
Added Dental to Lisbon location & expanded to include pediatric services
2006
Opened second site at the Hillside Family Resource Center, called Hillside Family Health Center
2011
Rebranded to Progressive
Community Health Centers, Inc.
2015
Built state-of-the-art health center on W. Lisbon Avenue
2016
Third site opened in partnership with Aurora Sinai Medical Center,
12th Street Urgent Care
2019
Lisbon Avenue & Hillside Family Health Centers achieve PCMH recognition
2023
Progressive enters into new era of leadership, with Board of Directors electing Candice Cole-Smith as CEO
2025
Expanded maternal health services by adding a Midwife and expanded substance use care
2026
Opened Retail Pharmacy at Lisbon Ave. Health Center location
