  • Dr. Garcia-Dwyer has always been passionate about community health. After college, he began working at a community health center in Milwaukee, which inspired him to pursue a career in primary care and preventive medicine. Throughout his medical training, he has remained committed to this path, finding it incredibly rewarding. He joined Progressive Community Health Centers due to its mission and dedication to community care. At Progressive, Dr. Garcia-Dwyer practices internal medicine and provides care for individuals with substance use disorders. He values a collaborative approach to patient care, meeting patients where they are and working together to achieve their health goals. He is also a strong advocate for preventive medicine, believing that health education and tools for making healthier choices are crucial for preventing chronic medical conditions.
