- Joshua enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife and two kids, aged 8 and 13. Sports serve as his therapy; he watches or listens to games every day and attends a yoga class twice a week.
- Joshua began his career in mental health 25 years ago, initially working as a phone counselor at an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). After that, he spent four years providing intensive community-based case management services and support to persistently mentally ill adults, often addressing co-occurring substance abuse issues. He then spent five years in a hospital setting, where he provided inpatient care and support to both children and adults dealing with mental illness. For the past five years, Joshua has been a valuable member of the Progressive team, offering ongoing therapy and support to individuals, couples, and families with a wide range of needs. He believes that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness, compassion, and understanding, and that therapy works much more effectively when people feel understood, accepted, and unconditionally supported.
