- Emily has dedicated 25 years to the medical field, beginning her career as a combat medic in the Army and progressing through roles as a Patient Care Technician in dialysis, an ICU RN, and a Nurse Practitioner. Her diverse experience includes teaching nursing students, managing in assisted living and rehabilitation centers, and working in various settings such as Emergency Departments, Transplant Surgery, and Urgent Care. Emily is passionate about community service and has volunteered at the Salvation Army for five years, providing accessible healthcare. She understands that many people seek to be heard and cared for, which she believes is essential for building a more unified community. This commitment to compassionate care is why she has chosen PCHC as her professional home. With the extensive knowledge she has accumulated, Emily aims to offer empathetic and compassionate care to every patient she encounters. She firmly believes that healthcare is a human right and strives to approach each patient with empathy, recognizing that many are simply trying to survive.
