  • Ellen has been working at PCHC in the urgent care setting for nearly five years. Before this role, she was employed by the Medical College of Wisconsin as a hospitalist PA in the Transplant Surgery ICU and the ED Observation Unit. Ellen collaborates with patients to understand the root causes of their issues and how these affect their lives. Together with the patient, she identifies any obstacles that might hinder their ability to complete or access treatment and develops a care plan tailored to their needs. Ellen employs shared decision-making in clinical practice, ensuring that patients have a direct role in their healthcare by understanding all available options. Currently, Ellen is studying at an herbalism apprenticeship to expand her knowledge and offer patients alternative options for optimizing health or addressing health concerns.
