- In her free time, Tamyra loves to bake, garden, travel, sing and spend time with her family and fur babies.
- Tamyra began serving patients in Family Medicine in 2006 at the Hillside Family Health Center. She gained experience treating chronic health conditions and preventative medicine of the geriatric, adult, pediatric and women’s health populations. In 2019, Tamyra became the Clinical Education and Development Specialist for PCHC, harnessing her skills of teaching and leadership to aid in the training of clinical support staff. Her next step of growth and achievement came in 2021 when she was promoted to the position of Medical Director, leading and advocating for the Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatric Providers. Tamyra also made strides in her clinical practice in 2024 by obtaining certification in diabetes treatment and joining the Diabetes Center of Excellence to provide comprehensive care to patients living with diabetes. She is currently Chief Clinical Operations Officer, managing the team that is responsible for how PCHC clinics function. She humbly takes on this great endeavor with hopes to contribute to the expansion and success of the organization.
