  • Barb has a passion for traveling to places near water, appreciating its vastness, calmness, and power. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially attending sporting events and plays or musicals.
  • After completing her undergraduate degree, Barb joined St. Joseph’s Hospital, dedicating her career to addressing health disparities in the Milwaukee community, particularly in the areas of nutrition and diabetes care. As her career progressed, and after earning her MBA, Barb shifted her focus to ambulatory care services. She represented St. Joseph’s in the Milwaukee Health Care Partnership, contributing to initiatives such as the Specialty Access for the Uninsured, in collaboration with MHSI and their patients.Eventually, Barb transitioned from Ascension to Progressive Community Health Centers, where she could fully embrace her passion for giving back to the community. Today, she continues to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives and strengthen the community she serves. Barb’s leadership style is grounded in servitude and a deep sense of responsibility to her community. She believes in the importance of listening, building trust, and encouraging others to grow. By fostering collaboration and promoting a culture of compassion, she strives to empower both her team and the patients they serve, leaving a lasting positive impact on the lives she touches.Her commitment to improving healthcare access and outcomes, combined with her servant leadership approach, allows Barb to not only contribute to immediate needs but also to build a stronger, healthier future for the Milwaukee community.
