Progressive Community Healther Centers Receives 2013 MANDI Award
Progressive Community Health Centers received the BMO Harris Bank Cornerstone Award for a long-standing commitment to meet the health and medical care needs of community members, regardless of their ability to pay. Located at 35th Street and Lisbon Avenue, the center has become an integral part of the neighborhood. PCHC partners with schools and community groups, and its comprehensive services include everything from dentistry to pediatrics in just a 8,000 square foot facility. Converting every inch of space into patient rooms and extending hours has allowed the growing clinic to see more than 8,500 patients last year. Of these patients 94% were uninsured or insured through Medicare and Medicaid.
