COVID-19 Vaccine Update
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our community, you may be curious about COVID-19 vaccination options. Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 will be one of the best ways to protect yourself and those around you from getting sick.
We are pleased to announce that Progressive Community Health Centers will serve as an approved COVID-19 vaccination site. As a phased vaccination plan begins, we have received a number of questions about when patients will be eligible to receive the vaccine. In accordance with state guidelines, we will vaccinate our essential staff first so they can remain healthy and ready to serve you. The next phase of vaccination will include reaching populations at highest risk for COVID-19 complications, beginning with current patients age 65 and older.
Please keep in mind that we receive a limited number of vaccine doses each week and are not able to vaccinate everyone. At this time we can only vaccinate established patients who meet the recommended guidelines. We will continue to expand vaccination to other patient groups as more doses of the vaccine become available. We will outreach to eligible patients and schedule vaccinations by appointment only. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate this complex vaccine distribution process. We promise to provide more information as it becomes available.
