Advocacy Honors

Progressive Community Health Centers recently received bronze-level designation as an Advocacy Center of Excellence, or ACE, from the Health Center Advocacy Network.  Agencies that achieve ACE status demonstrate ongoing commitment to advocacy through the creation of advocacy infrastructure at their health center, as well as consistent engagement in advocacy via response to calls to action, recruitment, training and education, social media presence, and otherwise. ACEs are actively engaged with the National Association of Community Health Centers and federal policy issues, but also work closely with their state’s primary care association to drive advocacy efforts on key state-based policy issues impacting health centers and their patients.
